Definition of auditing. Concepts of management assertions, audit objectives, evidence, materiality and risk, internal control, audit planning, and reporting as applied to financial statements. Professional ethics, legal liability, and the responsibilities of auditors to society are also addressed.

Requirements

- Should have an MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in the area of auditing theory.
- Must also demonstrate recent professional experience in auditing (familiarity with CAS and IAS is required).
- Must also have teaching experience, preferably in the area of auditing.
- Must have a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, or CMA).

Teaching Mode

Teaching method will be delivered in person. The teaching method might incur changes due to health measures or other reasons.
