The Account Associate provides reliable, day‑to‑day support across servicing, broking, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining strong relationships with clients, markets, and internal team members.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Senior Associates to support all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals while following Wylie Crump’s best practices and standard procedures.
- Assist with client communication and timely follow‑ups to ensure questions and requests are resolved promptly.
- Support client meetings and manage all related follow‑up actions and documentation.
- Prepare proposals, policy summaries, and other client‑ready materials.
- Manage account documentation, including routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statements of values, insurance contracts, premium finance documents, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Initiate and manage all stages of the year-round renewal cycle from client information collection through to post‑binding policy check and issuance.
- Prepare submissions and gather all required information accurately.
- Report claims as needed and support the claims process administratively.
- Oversee day‑to‑day servicing to keep deadlines, renewals,
and deliverables on track.
- Use internal reports to verify renewals, premiums, and fees are completed on schedule.
- Follow up with markets to obtain accurate and timely policy documentation.
- Maintain organized, complete electronic files for all accounts.
- Delegate tasks to Account Assistants and provide timely responses to internal questions.
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure smooth workflows and consistent client service.
What You Bring:
- Level 1 General Insurance License is strictly required; preference will be given to candidates with a Level 2 General Insurance License. Applicants without a license will not be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance
- Experience with Epic considered an asset
- Strong organization, accuracy, and time‑management skills
- Clear, skilled verbal and written communication
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Confidence using digital tools and learning new systems
