As part of MDA Space, a leader in satellite systems, the Structural Analyst role involves developing structural designs for antennas and electronic equipment. An ideal candidate will utilize Nx/Nastran for static, dynamic, and thermoelastic analyses while collaborating in a dynamic engineering environment. Your insights will contribute significantly to the success of critical space missions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Size components and identify design problem areas
• Calculate safety margins and document analyses
• Develop test procedures and write test reports




• Conduct static and dynamic analyses using NASTRAN
• Collaborate with a concurrent engineering team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 8 to 10 years of structural dynamics experience
• Proficiency with NASTRAN FEA software in NX setting
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of fatigue and structural testing is preferred
