Overview

A career in Resourcing and Deployment within Business Enablement will provide you with the opportunity to support the Tax line of service in workforce management, helping our network become more agile in the evolving markets we serve by ensuring the right people are assigned to the right projects at the right time. As a team, we optimise capacity sharing and enable the delivery of PwC services through our staffing strategy, emphasising forecasting, utilisation, workload balance, and development and diversity initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Strategically plan and oversee the allocation of Client Service Staff (CSS) to client engagements to ensure alignment with the firm’s strategic priorities and to meet the planned business metrics.
- Use continuous planning activities, proactive management and scheduling of resources to meet firm utilisation targets with a primary focus on staff leverage and peak season metrics.
- Build strong relationships with staff to understand career aspirations, strengths and areas of opportunity, aiding in allocating meaningful work to support personal and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the national resource management team, sharing best practices, analysing staff capacity and focusing on sharing resources across the country.
- Analyse standard productivity reports and provide recommendations on appropriate action plans or activities (e.g., workload balancing, utilisation improvement).
- Become a subject‑matter expert of resource management technology and reports.

Qualifications

- Experience in a professional service workplace, preferably in a client‑facing, operations, workforce planning or resource management role.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), negotiation, influence,



collaboration and relationship building.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking skills to prioritise workload.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to provide insights to leadership and understand how business trends can impact the market.
- Strong judgment, tact and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to analyse and understand the business impact of relevant options.
- Ability to manage complex projects while thinking strategically and creatively.
- Ability to deal confidently with partners and all staff levels in a professional manner while recognising the confidential nature of work.
- Adaptability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines.
- Effectively manage and resolve conflicts with a win‑win approach focused on future outcomes.

Benefits

Salary range:$81,900–$131,900(USD). The base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications and work location. Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programmes designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay‑transparency legislation.
