Directeur financier / Director of Finance

Quantum Management Services Ltd. – a North American designer, manufacturer and distributor of sleepwear, underwear and swimwear – invites applications for the Finance Director position. The role is a key strategic partner to the President and Executive Leadership Team, responsible for elevating the company’s financial operations, strengthening internal controls and leading long‑term financial planning.

Location: Ville Saint‑Laurent (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)

Base pay range: CA$150,000.00 – CA$190,000.00 per year (actual pay commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the timely and accurate issuance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee the preparation of the monthly management reporting package, including detailed variance analyses and performance insights.
- Direct and manage annual external audits and support all required government and tax audits.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all departments.
- Partner with the President and leadership team to develop the company’s 3‑year strategic plan, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Drive cross‑functional coordination to improve budgeting accuracy, cost management and financial transparency.




- Monitor debt levels and ensure full compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements.
- Oversee treasury operations, including adherence to FX policies and strategies to mitigate currency‑related risks.
- Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies and processes that comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Accounting and Finance team, ensuring strong performance, continuous learning and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑trust setting that supports accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- CPA designation required.
- Strong experience in financial planning, analysis and budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, modeling tools).
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Background in consumer goods, retail, apparel, CPG, manufacturing or related industries strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver results, manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
- Exceptional organizational and strategic planning abilities.
