- Participate in detailed engineering and design of automation and control systems for industrial projects
- Program and configure control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMIs) as part of the overall engineering solution
- Prepare technical deliverables such as P&IDs;, I/O lists, control philosophies, specifications, calculations, and study reports
- Support project execution activities including scope clarification, schedules, cost tracking, and coordination meetings
- Develop and maintain solid client relationships
- Perform site surveys and assist with commissioning and testing to validate engineering designs, both onsite and remotely
- Assist with equipment commissioning, both onsite and remotely

Overview of certifications and job requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronic, or instrumentation and control engineering, or any other equivalent training
- 0 to 4 years of experience in automation and instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors
- Available for short‑ and long‑term work assignments at client locations or sites
- Valid driver’s licence
- Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, ability to draft technical documents in both languages
