This is a Lead Cyber Security Engineering position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutionsAdminister, configure, and support the ServiceNow Discovery platform, including MID Servers, schedules, credentials, and integrationsDesign, develop, and maintain Discovery Patterns, Probes, and Sensors to enhance coverage and CMDB data accuracyTroubleshoot Discovery failures by analyzing logs, connectivity, authentication, and infrastructure configurationsPartner with infrastructure, networking, cloud, and application teams to onboard new technologies and expand Discovery scopeDevelop automation using PowerShell and Python to streamline administration, operational tasks, and Discovery processesManage Discovery configurations and code through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps best practicesMonitor Discovery health, MID Server performance,



and CMDB data quality, implementing improvements to ensure reliable asset visibilityContribute to platform architecture, technology evaluations, and best practices for ServiceNow Discovery and enterprise asset managementParticipate in Agile ceremonies and document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharingWhat you'll bring to the role:Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplinesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceAt least 6 years of hands-on experience administering and engineering ServiceNow Discovery in large enterprise environmentsStrong expertise in Discovery components, including MID Servers, Patterns, Probes, Sensors, credentials, and troubleshootingExperience managing CMDB data quality, reconciliation processes, and identification rulesStrong Windows Server administration experience, including deployment and troubleshooting of MID ServersProficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation and infrastructure managementExperience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and CI/CD practices, including configuration-as-codeStrong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, NAT, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and connectivity troubleshootingExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environmentsAll our positions are located in Montreal, Quebec.
