Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer with expertise in distributed systems to join our Journal team. As a technical leader, you will architect solutions that ensure reliability at high scale, while mentoring fellow engineers and managing development activities. Your role will essentially influence how our team meets the demands of managing over 100 million transactions per second.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build high-performance distributed systems software
• Deliver features on-time within project commitments




• Participate in code and design reviews with the team
• Mentor and guide other engineering professionals
• Stay current on technologies to integrate innovations
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of skilled software development experience
• Proficient in at least one programming language
• Experience leading design and architecture for scalable systems
• Proven mentorship or tech lead experience
• Background in software development life cycle
Use your software engineering skills to enhance AWS’s capabilities in distributed systems at the Journal team.
