Job Overview

Chez AWS, we believe in thinking big and are looking for a bilingual Senior Solutions Architect to advise our Financial Services & Insurance customers on adopting AWS technology. The role focuses on designing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures to solve business challenges and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other teams to deliver cloud solutions that meet business needs.
- Build deep relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor for critical workloads during their digital transformation.
- Support the achievement of revenue objectives through application, software, and services adoption on AWS platform.
- Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in detailed architectural discussions.
- Contribute to AWS internal and customer‑facing publications such as white‑papers and blogs.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure.




- Strong understanding of the transformative value of cloud technologies.
- Excellence in strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

- Cloud technology certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering).
- Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
- Experience with large scale automation and workflow management.

Advantages

Base salary range: 146,000 - 211,600 CAD annually (CAN, QC, Montreal). Compensation may include signing bonus, restricted stock units, and other incentives.
