Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), they partner with senior leaders, and colleagues across the organization to co-create and execute technology strategies that support business objectives and drive sustainable growth.Core ResponsibilitiesDefine and champion, in collaboration with the COO and senior leadership, a holistic technological transformation roadmap that aligns technology investments with business strategy, client experience, and innovation goals.Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, automation, advanced analytics) to create competitive advantage.Accountable for execution of the firm’s technology strategy and associated strategic initiatives to improve business outcomes,
operational effectiveness and support growth and scalability of the firm with a focus on migrating away from internally developed solutions to best‑class SaaS and integration.Oversight of day-to-day operations of all Information Technology functions within the firm including IT Operations, Software Development and Data and Reporting.Provide strategic guidance on technical challenges and opportunities to the COO and senior leadership.Establish enterprise-wide data governance and analytics strategy, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and ethical use.Oversee the security and compliance of IT systems and data, ensuring that all relevant standards and regulations are met.Ensure the consistent application of IT policies and standards across the firm.Lead, mentor and support Technology senior leaders and teams with a focus on collaboration, skill development and career growth.Represent the organization in industry forums, vendor negotiations, and strategic partnerships.Build relationships with regulators, technology partners, and thought leaders to influence and anticipate market trends.Required Skills & QualificationsExecutive Technology Leadership: Minimum 15–20 years of progressive experience in Information Technology leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role (VP or equivalent) within a complex, growth-oriented organization.Strategic Business Acumen: Proven ability to align technology strategy with business objectives, influence at Board and C‑suite level, and deliver measurable business value through technology investments.Transformation Expertise: Demonstrated success leading core architecture replacement programs in the Finance industry as well as adoption of emerging and innovative technologies (AI, automation, advanced analytics, cloud platforms).Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, regulatory compliance,
and business continuity planning; ability to integrate technology risk into enterprise risk management.Financial Stewardship: Experience managing large technology budgets, investment portfolios, and ROI analysis; skilled in balancing innovation with cost optimization.Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with regulators, vendors, and industry thought leaders.Skilled Certifications: Relevant certifications (ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are considered an asset.Compensation & Benefits PackageThis position comes with a base salary range of$240,000 - $260,000plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit‑sharing program.
