Our client is a family owned distribution business with close to 100 years of history behind them! Due to a retirement they are seeking a "hands on" Assistant Controller to act as the right hand to the Controller and eventually take on that role. The company prides itself on having a number of long term employees who feel a part of the family. You will be involved in daily accounting workflows, month-end responsibilities, regulatory reporting, audits, and strategic financial projects that support our next phase of growth. This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, collaborating closely with operations, and improving processes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Controller, external accountants, and internal teams across Finance, Purchasing, Customer Service, Warehouse/Delivery, and Sales Support daily
