Overview

Senior Systems Developer – Finance Systems Integration SpecialistClio is seeking a seasoned developer to lead integration projects for critical finance systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Leapfin. The role blends hands‑on iPaaS development with AI‑driven automation to transform finance workflows and uphold Clio’s compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations that connect finance systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and auditable data flows.
- Identify automation opportunities across finance operations and implement solutions using code, iPaaS platforms, and AI‑powered tooling to improve velocity.
- Serve as the go‑to integration expert for finance workflows: procure‑to‑pay, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger processes.
- Lead requirement gathering, translate business needs into technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and field mapping documentation.
- Build event‑driven automations, webhook‑based triggers, and bulk data synchronization processes with robust monitoring, error handling, and retry mechanisms.
- Support integration development and testing during NetSuite, Coupa, and Leapfin implementation and enhancement projects.
- Document integration architectures, data flows, API specifications, and troubleshooting procedures to support operational continuity and audit readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise with iPaaS or middleware platforms such as Workato, Celigo, or Boomi.
- Practical experience in one of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Golang, or Bash.
- Direct experience working with finance systems (NetSuite, Coupa, or Leapfin)



and solid understanding of finance business processes.
- Fluency in contemporary API standards (REST, GraphQL), authentication methods (OAuth, API tokens, SAML), and integration patterns including webhooks and event‑driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of compliance and security best practices related to financial data integrations (SOC 2, data privacy, access management, audit trail).
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., AI‑assisted development, intelligent automation, LLM‑based workflow optimization).

Bonus Points

- Experience with other enterprise systems (Workday, Salesforce, Hubspot) and integration within a modern finance tech stack.
- Background at a high‑growth SaaS company.
- Experience supporting internal or external audit processes related to system integrations and financial data flows.
- Proven track record implementing AI‑driven automation in finance or enterprise systems.
- Practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions.

- Competitive salary: $125,500 to $169,700 CAD, with additional bands for other regions.
