Rivian is searching for an experienced Platform Engineer skilled in build and release engineering to elevate our Internal Developer Platform (IDP). As part of our customer-focused team, you will leverage your technical expertise to enhance DevEx and establish efficient CI/CD pipelines. Your contributions will shape how our engineering teams develop and deploy products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect scalable CI/CD pipelines integrated with testing tools
• Manage release processes, ensuring low-risk deployments
• Streamline DevEx through self-service platforms and tooling
• Monitor system stability and troubleshoot platform issues
• Provide mentorship on CI/CD best practices and tools
Requirements:
• 7–10 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization
• Strong coding skills in Go, Bash, or equivalent languages
• Familiarity with GitOps practices for deployment
