- Experience of integration/API architecture experience
- Hands-on Apigee (Edge, Hybrid, or Apigee X) in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, rate limiting, PII masking
- Proven experience leading API gateway migration programs (Azure APIM, MuleSoft, or similar to Apigee)
- Robust understanding of CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Postman/Karate
- Experience in regulated banking/financial services environments (PCI-DSS, OSFI, PIPEDA)
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for API onboarding and Azure APIM-to-Apigee Hybrid migration across multiple waves.
- Serve as primary technical interface with client platform and LOB teams; drive daily architecture and platform sync.
- Define and enforce API design standards, proxy patterns, shared flows,



and security policies (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, rate limiting, logging).
- Lead technical governance across PODs — code reviews, design reviews, template standardization.
- Guide and enable client teams through knowledge transfer, enabling them to independently sustain the platform post-engagement.
- Drive reuse by developing and maintaining reusable proxy templates, CI/CD pipeline patterns, and API playbooks.

Nice to have :

- Experience with Apigee Hybrid on GCP/Azure infrastructure
- Familiarity with GraphQL, SOAP, and XML API patterns
