Manager, Business Valuation & Litigation Support

Location: Ontario, Canada (Hybrid/Remote)

Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 CAD (dependent on experience)

The Client: Our client is a specialized professional services firm providing advisory expertise in business valuation, financial dispute resolution, and litigation support services. The firm partners with legal professionals, businesses, and private clients across a range of complex financial matters, delivering detailed analysis and expert-driven solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What you will achieve in this role

- Lead business valuation engagements for litigation, mediation, arbitration, and other dispute‑related matters.
- Conduct financial analysis, industry research, and economic assessments to support valuation conclusions.
- Prepare financial models, formal valuation reports, and critique reports.
- Calculate fair market value assessments for privately held businesses, shareholder interests, and related assets.
- Support matters involving family law, shareholder disputes, estate disputes, and expropriation‑related engagements.
- Assist with income analysis and financial assessments involving owner‑managed businesses and self‑employed individuals.
- Analyze financial information to identify inconsistencies, irregularities, and performance trends.
- Support additional mandates involving loss quantification, insurance claims, and litigation support assignments.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high‑quality service delivery.




- Manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines, budgets, and engagement expectations.
- Stay current on legislative developments, valuation methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Participate in business development initiatives including conferences, presentations, networking events, and proposals.

What you must bring to this role

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation considered an asset.
- CBV designation completed or in progress preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting, or related advisory work.
- Experience working with privately held businesses and owner‑managed enterprises.
- Exposure to litigation support matters including shareholder disputes, family law, loss quantification, or insurance claims is considered an asset.
- Experience preparing valuation reports, critique reports, or financial analysis for dispute‑related matters.
- Previous experience within a public accounting firm or valuation advisory setting preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, accounting, and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management abilities.




- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
- Must be located in Canada.
