RQ11264 - DevOps/Cloud Engineer - Senior

11 months Contract (235 business days), ONSITE 5 days – 87 Sir William Hearst Avenue.

Must Have

- 10+ years of experience in systems, data communications and telecommunication technology, including RedHat Enterprise Linux v7+, UNIX Solaris v10 and Mainframe IMS Connect, system software and system tools.
- Extensive experience in WebLogic v12, WebSphere v9 and Informatica v10 configuration, customization, upgrading and patching.
- Extensive experience in DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud, including Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines and OpenShift.
- Working knowledge of Git, including branching and merging strategies (e.g., git-flow), pull‑request collaboration and GitOps practices.

Deliverables

Task 1

- Monthly Performance Status Report (where applicable).
- All deliverables worked on during the past month, including progress and specific accomplishments.
- Status of deliverables compared to the project baseline.
- Estimated completion: Monthly.

Task 2

- Review Technical Design.
- Revise Technical Design based on review.
- Develop automation scripts based on technical design.
- Implement and promote to User Test workplace.
- Implement and promote to Production environment.
- Document for knowledge transfer.
- Provide support for integration and data migration requirements.
- Provide support for the Q&A; phase of the project.
- Provide stabilization support post go‑live.
- Estimated completion: According to the project timeline schedule.

Task 3

- Knowledge transfer to ministry staff.
- Deliverables:



Documentation and walk‑through sessions.
- Estimated completion: Throughout the project.

Skill Set

- Minimum 10 years of experience in WebLogic v12, WebSphere v9 and Informatica v10 configuration, customization and upgrading.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud, including Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines and OpenShift.
- Working knowledge of Git, including branching, merging strategies (e.g., git-flow), pull‑request collaboration and GitOps practices.
- Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and immutable infrastructure using Ansible and Packer.
- Experience in systems, data communications and telecommunication technology, including RedHat Enterprise Linux v7+, UNIX Solaris v10 and Mainframe IMS Connect.
- Experience with performance tuning, storage/capacity management, database migration/upgrade and Backup/Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Experience with clustering, load balancers, firewall configuration and corresponding Azure cloud implementations.
- Experience with J2EE, Java, and web technologies such as Node.js, Azure Functions, Serverless, Pub/Sub event‑driven systems and Azure App Gateway.
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter tools, Designer, Workflow Manager and Workflow.
- Experience in application monitoring and support.
- Highly skilled in analysis and problem‑solving.

Compensation

- Incorporated rate range (7.25 billable hours per day): $90.37/hr – $108.45/hr inclusive.
- T4 rate range (7.25 billable hours per day): $72.30/hr – $86.76/hr.
