As a BASC Coordinator, you will oversee programming that champions the YMCA’s mission while ensuring high-quality care and supervision for children. Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating resources, and consistently engaging with school programs to maintain quality standards and child safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee purchasing and organization of program materials
• Maintain a presence at each school site monthly
• Support staff with activity ideas and program goals
• Monitor child-to-staff ratios during critical times
• Build relationships with families and school administrators
Requirements:
• 4+ years' experience in a childcare or educational role
• Knowledge of healthy child development and programming
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current Criminal Record Check within 6 months
