Take on a Senior Pressure Equipment Engineer role focused on fitness-for-service and compliance in the Oil & Gas sector. Help ensure safety and reliability with your extensive technical skill set.
In this role, you’ll authenticate critical assessments and collaborate with provincial regulators to maintain industry standards for pressure equipment. Your experience will play a vital role in the assessment of modifications and regulatory compliance, directly influencing repair strategies and operational integrity. You'll also validate assessments conducted by external consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute API-579 / ASME FFS assessments at Levels 2 and 3
• Perform engineering calculations for equipment modifications
• Provide support during outages and equipment repairs
• Validate external consultants’ FFS assessments
• Engage with provincial pressure-equipment regulatory bodies
Requirements:
• P.Eng registration with APEGA
• 15+ years in pressure equipment engineering within Oil & Gas
• 5+ years of experience with API-579 / ASME FFS assessments
• Knowledgeable in ASME BPV and API-579
• 5+ years of finite-element analysis with Abaqus or ANSYS
