Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and personal care.
- Follow and execute the client’s care plan.
- Assist clients with ADLs within scope of practice.
- Support protected transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises.
- Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment.
- Work within training, experience, and scope of practice.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation.
- Experience with dementia and responsive behaviors is an asset.
Position Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completed a recognized caregiver education program.
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (issued within the last year).
- Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray (within the past 2 years).
- Two professional references.
