Shape the future of autonomous systems with Harmattan AI as a Machine Learning Engineer focused on Detect and Track Distillation. Optimize models for embedded systems while pushing boundaries.
As a key player in the Detect & Track Distillation team, you will influence the technical direction from early stages. This opportunity involves distilling large foundation models for efficient target detection, classifying data, and re-identifying targets over time. You will primarily work from Lausanne, Paris, or Zurich, applying advanced techniques in model optimization and machine learning operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Distill foundation models into task-specific components
• Optimize neural networks for embedded hardware constraints




• Manage MLOps pipelines ensuring robust logging
• Collaborate on data curation for improved model accuracy
• Benchmark distilled models for performance evaluation
Requirements:
• Degree in STEM field with strong academic record
• Experience in computer vision and deep learning
• Expertise in model compression and edge AI deployment
• Proficiency in MLOps and GPU compute
• Robust analytical and communication skills
