Position Summary

Concessions Stand Ambassador assists in the staging of all snack & beverage items within their assigned location, ensures proper merchandising and rotating of product, and interacts with guests, providing assistance in all transactions at self‑checkout areas. The role includes checking IDs according to Smart Serve laws, maintaining excellent attendance, and working weekends. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.60‑$18.60 CAD .

About The Venue

Canada Life Place opened in October 2002 with a seating capacity of 9,036 for hockey and over 10,000 for concerts and other events. The venue strives to meet community needs through diverse programming and serves as a landmark of civic pride, providing a wide range of public sports and entertainment.



It is home to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

Responsibilities

- Assist in ensuring all snack & beverage products are fully stocked in designated locations.
- Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low‑stock items to management.
- Listen to and respond to customer requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
- Monitor for theft and ensure that the fridges are monitored at all times.
- Check guests’ ID in accordance with Smart Serve and Ontario laws to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Must have SmartServe certification.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- Previous experience with point‑of‑sale systems is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co‑workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn.
