Make a difference as a Registered Nurse providing substance use services. Collaborate with teams to deliver evidence-based care and support recovery pathways for clients in need.
This position requires expertise in managing nursing care for those affected by substance use disorders. You will engage in mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and health promotion activities. Your role will be significant in fostering patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer direct nursing care aligned with best practices
• Facilitate comprehensive patient assessments
• Manage and respond to healthcare emergencies
• Collaborate with health professionals for holistic care
• Provide health education and psychosocial support
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license mandatory
• Specialized training in addiction treatment preferred
• One year experience working with substance use clients
• Current CPR and First Aid certification a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings
