Animation Pipeline Technical Director

Role Type: Full-time

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of Maya and Python programming.
- Experience creating user interfaces with PyQt/PySide.
- Experience with C++ is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Understanding of the git version control system.
- Familiarity with Katana, Unreal, Houdini, and/or USD is a plus.
- Most desired: 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate, however a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience may be accepted.
- Experience working on CG and VFX productions.
- Extra Qualifications: Unreal Engine: Understanding of Unreal scene management, sequencer-based operations, data exchange between DCCs (Maya/Unreal), and experience supporting visualization workflows within Unreal. Knowledge of USD-based integration, Blueprint scripting within Unreal environments is a strong plus.

- Compensation: CAD $26.44 - CAD $48.89 /hour CAD
