Job Details Position Title: International Graduate Student Career and Success Coordinator Status: Appendix D Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week Faculty/Department: International Graduate School Campus/Location: Humber Downtown Salary: Payband I (Min $40.39 - Max $46.64) About the Role Under the direction of the Manager of the ICHub, the International Graduate Student Career and Success Coordinator supports the international graduate student through their learner journey at the Humber International Graduate School. The incumbent will use a holistic approach grounded in development and lifecycle theory and practice, designed to effectively address intersecting needs supporting student success. Leveraging the Humber Learning Outcomes (HLOs) framework and supporting the Employability Skills Hub, they will guide the IGS learner as they develop the skills and competencies for success in Canada. The incumbent coordinates all aspects of the mentorship program for all semester students. The incumbent coaches and prepares students through career development and preparation for the labour market through one-on-one advising; job search training; workshops and seminars; CIE course, external marketing to employers; internal and community liaison; and ongoing labour market research. The incumbent liaises and collaborates closely with faculties and service areas for the purpose of understanding issues, case conferencing to support an advisee, making meaningful referrals, and sharing information critical to creating a quality advising experience for students. Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of the mentorship program for all semester students. Provide one-on-one advising on career development and labour‑market preparation. Deliver job search training, workshops,



and seminars; support CIE course and external marketing to employers. Engage in internal and community liaison and conduct ongoing labour market research. Liaise with faculties and service areas to understand issues, perform case conferencing, make referrals, and support a high‑quality advising experience for students. About You Education: Bachelors degree in Education, Career and Work Counselling, Higher Education/Student Affairs, Coaching and Advising, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of practical related experience in career advising and/or student development programming; experience using a CRM or client management system; experience collecting and maintaining a database. Skills Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Ability to manage relationships with internal and external contacts Ability to use computerized student information systems and maintain records Ability to coordinate activities and communicate with team members to avoid duplication Ability to recognize when additional support or direction is required Exhibits effective listening skills Ability to break large plans into smaller, manageable tasks Ability to communicate with stakeholders who are not easily accessible Whats in it for you?
