Role Senior Data Engineer

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)

Job description

Primary Skills

- Need experience in building solutions for data lakes data integrations data warehouse smarts
- Positive experience in Informatica Power Center SQL
- Solid grasp experience with data technologies tools Snowflake Hadoop Oracle PostgreSQL Informatica BDM PowerCenter etc.
- Excellent coding skills in SQL Scripts
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in ETL with Informatica product suite
- Experience implementing Data Governance principles and efficiencies
- Design and Develop ETL Pipeline to ingest data into Oracle Hadoop Postgres from different data sources Files Mainframe Relational Sources NoSQL Hadoop Etc. using Informatica PowerCenter and BDM
- Work in an Agile delivery framework to evolve data models and solution designs to deliver value incrementally

Secondary Skills

- Knowledge or experience in GW CC Guidewire claim center will be an additional nice to have




- Insurance knowledge an asset Ability to foundationally understand complex business process driving technical systems
- Experience with Guidewire Claim center is nice to have
- Java

Soft Skills

- Collaboration with business partners product owners partners functional specialists business analysts IT architecture and developers to develop solution designs adhering to architecture standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work with client stakeholders
