Lead the integration of the Integrated Bridge Navigation Systems at J.D. Irving, Limited. Ensure successful delivery of capabilities for the River Class Destroyer Program while managing a dedicated engineering team.
As the IBNS Capability Lead, you will act as the technical authority, guiding the design, integration, and testing of navigation systems in Canada’s navy. Your leadership will directly impact the success of the River Class Destroyer fleet. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring all project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all IBNS-related program activities
• Manage the engineering team’s functions and processes
• Identify and specify mitigation measures for risks




• Liaise with subcontractors and the Royal Canadian Navy
• Lead production and acceptance activities for the system
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and P.Eng. designation
• Proven experience as a Technical Authority
• Deep understanding of maritime Combat Systems
• Familiarity with complex system designs
• Experience creating and managing SOWs
