Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeCA$90,000.00/yr - CA$150,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesAs a DevOps Engineer, you will support the team by creating and maintaining automated build, testing and deployment pipelines.You will leverage your extensive knowledge of CI/CD processes and containerized build and deployment to help define best practices and enable other developers to focus on feature development.The ideal candidate is an experienced GitLab administrator who worked as a Python developer and enjoys supporting a team of developers with rigorous and robust build systems.Create and maintain complex build, test, integrations and deployment pipelines.Improve developer velocity through automation of GitLab tasks.Write technical briefs and user documentation.Partner with software development leadership and the pipeline team to identify and schedule tasks.Qualifications3+ years Python developmentExpert with automated build and deployment systems in GitLab or similarExperience enforcing code quality through testing and linting in the Python ecosystemHands on experience with DockerFamiliarity with VFX pipelines and production needsExperience building C++ librariesExperience with Rez and/or Python build and distribution ecosystemsUnderstanding of reverse-proxy and other techniques for making APIs accessibleWorking knowledge of cloud based deploymentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbout UsScanline VFX is an award-winning leader in the visual effects industry with 7 studios worldwide,
