The Job at a Glance

We're looking for an engineering leader with 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in engineering leadership. In this dynamic role you’ll lead our exceptional, senior engineering team and collaborate with business stakeholders to build customer‑facing solutions that transform the way foodservice operators run their businesses.

Tech Stack

- Backend: Node.js with TypeScript, PostgreSQL database, deployed on AWS
- Frontend: Vue.js with Vuetify
- Mobile: React Native
- BI Layer: BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Data Studio
- AI Tools: Claude, OpenAI, Veryfi

Team Strategy & Planning

- Align annual team OKRs with organizational goals
- Stay ahead of tech trends to guide strategic adoption or avoidance
- Manage engineering budgets efficiently to maximize impact

Execution & Delivery

- Build strong vendor partnerships to support engineering needs
- Lead cross‑functional engineering initiatives, ensuring technical excellence
- Collaborate on technical requirements, prioritize efforts, and align on goals
- Measure and improve Front‑End/Back‑End team efficiency and processes

Qualifications

- 3+ years of engineering management and team leadership, including building teams, measuring and managing performance, and implementing processes to drive continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences, including the ability to collaborate effectively around complex topics
- Experience leading day‑to‑day engineering best practices in collaboration with product, UX, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders




- Direct experience leveraging AI tools for both AI‑assisted coding and development of user‑facing functionality, including building agentic solutions into products and business processes
- In‑depth knowledge and experience standing up QA processes and tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Passion for pragmatic software design
