As an AI Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that address real-world business challenges.

Build, train, and optimize machine learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning approaches.

Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for model development and production.

Work with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP) to operationalize AI solutions, leveraging services like Azure ML, Cognitive Services, or their equivalents.

Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support the integration of AI models into production systems.

Stay current with the latest AI/ML research, tools, and best practices, and proactively share knowledge with the team.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in model performance, data quality, and deployment pipelines.

Communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additionally, you’ll also be comfortable in working on application development projects for our client who is a reputable business operating within the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Sanitary industry sector.

You are a seasoned cloud technologist and trusted advisor with deep expertise in Azure and DevOps practices. You are comfortable leading technical teams while engaging senior business stakeholders and executives. You bring strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills, and are adept at shaping technology strategy, defining architecture, and guiding clients through complex cloud transformation initiatives.

Our Managers lead the design and delivery of sustainable cloud and DevOps solutions, working closely with clients, architects, and delivery teams to maximise the value of Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for shaping solution direction, providing architectural leadership, and ensuring delivery excellence across engagements.

You will operate across the full lifecycle — from pre-sales and solution shaping through architecture, implementation oversight, and operational transition — while mentoring consultants and analysts and driving best practice adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of DevOps CI/CD strategies and enterprise delivery pipelines

Architect and oversee implementation of Azure cloud solutions aligned to client business and technology strategies

Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and DevOps practices across Azure environments

Provide technical leadership across project teams from requirements through architecture, delivery oversight, and operational handover

Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures for modern workloads

Lead technical assessments and cloud adoption strategies for customers moving to Azure

Conduct architectural and technical reviews to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business objectives

Mentor and guide analysts and consultants in delivery and capability development

Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and client presentations

What you’ll do:

- Design and develop high-performance, security-focused, and robust software componentsand API's
- Integrate with other backend systems
- Have a solid understanding of agile/scrum software development teams and processes
- Contribute actively to the design, coding, integration, testing and deployment of high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring and improvement
- Have a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities, and the skill to get buy-in and ensure implementation

S ills and experiences:

- Core expertise: .Net specialist. Version: .Net 8 (Core)
- Harnessing modern development and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, automated testing.
- 5+ years of experience with .Net development and design
- Have programming experience with C#, Typescript and PowerShell
- Have experience with MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET, Blazor, and NuGet
- Have experience with ADO.NET, and (software for) relational databases;
- Having experience with Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes is a benefit.
- It would be a plus if you also have experience with:
- Linux environments
- Java development.
- with mainframe languages like COBOL, Natural, XGEN
- with mainframe databases like DB2, IMS, ADABAS
- working with global teams on projects.
- working with offshore teams to facilitate project work

Develop pragmatic, deliverable and sustainable Copilot solutions and roadmaps that allows clients to address their business needs and leverage the best value out of their Microsoft investments.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Microsoft 365 products.
