- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages, serving in a floating capacity for a minimum of 15 routes.
- Work as a courier without an assigned regular route.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for hourly employees by demonstrating solid communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills using Best Practices methods.
- Promote sales and generate incremental revenue wherever possible.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six (6) months of courier experience.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training, including DG certification management.
- Capacity to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
- Solid knowledge of FedEx products, services, and operations.
- Some knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
- In Quebec,
bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
- Must be available Monday through Saturday.
Additional Notes
Incumbents do not have regularly assigned routes; coverage is provided for open routes when a normally assigned courier is absent.
The requirement for DG specialist certification depends on station size and location. Senior management may override this requirement.
