The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the research, analysis and security selection of predominately North American companies in your respective sectors.We are open to applications across different experience levels and with different sector expertise.What you will doBe part of a highly engaged, collaborative team that focuses on what’s right, not who’s right.Openly hold yourself accountable to support collective learning and continuous improvement.Generate and manage research that supports the Team’s research within your respective sector.Research, analyze, and recommend investments:Perform in-depth fundamental credit research and industry analysis to identify companies and bonds with superior risk-return profilesFollow companies in assigned sectors, contribute to reporting and marketing needsMeet with company management, industry experts, rating agency analysts and other specialistsDocument research ideas and investment rationalesMaintain and update various analytical tools used to evaluate corporate bonds for inclusion in fundsCommunicate high conviction recommendations to the rest of the groupPresent to internal clients about security selection, investment ideas, and portfolio activity.Work closely with Team members to access relative value across sectors.Participate in research and process improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis.What you will bringA broad range of experience levels will be accepted. However, applicants should have a minimum 1‑3 years experience in the financial services industry,



preferably with a focus on financial analysis.Excellent understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis, economic theoryFlexible compensation structure that will adjust for those applicants with more experienceEducationBachelors degree, or higher.CFA designation, or commitment to obtain the CFA designation.SkillsAbility to work within a small team of investment professionals.High level of organizational skills.High work ethics and determination to succeed.A willingness to continue to learn and open to improvements in process and structure.Very good verbal and written communications skills.Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a succinct way.Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.Competent with Microsoft Office software and willingness to learn new platforms (e.G. trading platforms, content sharing (Bloomberg) and attribution software).Nice to have experience with SQL, Python and Bloomberg VBAWillingness to travel 3 times a year to NYC and or other areas of the USCI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $135,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a.
