Responsibilities

- Evaluate electrical drawings and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Understand and evaluate bid depository regulations to ensure accurate and compliant bids.
- Utilize Accubid software to develop and maintain project cost controls.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information for estimates.
- Review and evaluate cost discrepancies and variances for management review.
- Participate in bid and proposal meetings, presenting estimates and answering questions from clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.




- Minimum 10 years electrical estimation experience in heavy industrial construction, including projects involving distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and data centers.
- Experience estimating projects worth approximately $50 million.
- Proficiency in Accubid software and other industry‑standard estimation tools.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical trade scope and bid depository regulations.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex electrical drawings and specifications.
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
