We are seeking a Senior Specialist Engineer who excels in providing technical leadership in CANDU reactor design. This position requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience, along with mentorship skills to shape junior and senior engineers. Engaging with complex engineering challenges, you will develop robust solutions while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and engineering efforts for CANDU Fuel Channels
• Mentor and influence engineering practices and solutions
• Address complex engineering challenges with sound judgment
• Review design documentation and resolve technical issues
• Support project planning and execution across phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering from a recognized university
• Licensed in Ontario as a Qualified Engineer
• Min 15 years of related design experience in nuclear engineering
• Classical stress calculation and GD&T; knowledge
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
