THE ROLE
As a Bartender, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations, and marinas. You will build a rapport with the military community during large events and everyday moments, and experience various military traditions.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages
- Maintain inventory of bar stock and order supplies
- Assist in the set‑up and take‑down of social and military functions
- Operate a Point of Sales system
- Provide a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Work as part of a team to deliver the best customer experience for our members
Qualifications Needed
- High school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
- Legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario
- Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
- Experience in serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks
- Cash handling experience
- Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership skills
- English – Essential (reading: none, writing: none, oral: functional)
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (more than 10 lbs / 4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs / 23 kg)
