Summary
We are seeking a Merchandising and Planning Program Manager to drive large-scale cross-functional transformation programs across Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Operations. This role requires deep experience with merchandising workflows, GTM processes, and technology-enabled business transformation in a complex matrixed environment.
General information
This engagement is focused on enterprise transformation across interconnected business functions, including Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Global Pricing, PLM, Product Operations, Technology, Change Management, and Learning. The work spans discovery through implementation and adoption, with a strong emphasis on process design, stakeholder alignment, governance, and collaboration with Product Management and Technology teams.
The ideal consultant will be comfortable operating across multiple concurrent workstreams and translating business processes and operational requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions. This role also requires regular onsite presence in Vancouver four days per week.
Tasks and Deliverables
- Lead large-scale cross-functional transformation programs across merchandising-related business functions.
- Drive discovery, process design, requirements development, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and governance forums.
- Develop current-state and future-state process maps and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams,
dependencies, timelines, risks, and executive communications.
- Establish governance frameworks, operating models, tools, and scalable program processes.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Technology teams through solution discovery, testing, implementation, and release activities.
- Translate operational requirements into technology-enabled solutions that balance business objectives, user experience, and implementation feasibility.
Required experience
- Local to Vancouver and willing to work onsite.
- Experience in Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, Supply Chain, Product Operations, or related business functions.
- Deep understanding of merchandising workflows, GTM processes, and cross-functional business interdependencies.
- Proven experience leading enterprise or business transformation initiatives from discovery through implementation.
- Robust program and project management experience across concurrent workstreams, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and governance forums.
- Experience developing current-state and future-state process maps and business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including using operational data and business insights.
- Experience partnering with Product Management and Technology teams during discovery, testing, implementation, and release activities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with PLM, merchandising systems, and enterprise project management tools.
