About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Snowflake/IICS/AWS Tech Lead!

In an Agile project approach, you will perform various tasks to help and support our projects on their journey of setup activities on technical components. You will be involved with our architecture team to help identify the best solution and enforce the company best practices and standards. The degree of complexity can vary throughout the life cycle and size of the projects. You will participate on the required technical presentation. Our data being at the heart of the company activities, the data security and integrity will be your top priority.

What you'll do here:

- Analyze, define, and translate technical specifications in our cloud platform.

- Collaboration with our architects on the architecture.

- Attend Agile project ceremonies to report on the status of tests, communicate problems, implement solutions and more.

- Ensure our delivery met with the highest quality.

- Coordinate end-to-end technical activities for projects.

What you bring to the table:





- Bachelor's degree in a field related to IT or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical development.

- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake, IICS and AWS.

- Knowledge of programming software applications and/or system.

- Knowledge of database test programming.

- Knowledge in the Python and/or Java programming language.

- A good understanding of the CI / CD concept.

- A good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

- Knowledge of the insurance industry, an asset.

- Knowledge of analytical data tools, an asset.

- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Profile sought:

- A good communicator (oral and written) in French and English – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

- A team player with an analytical mind and attention to details.

- Able to establish priorities, manage them and readjust yourself in case of change.

- Persevering and have problem-solving skills.

- Curious and interested to learn new tools.

- Available to work occasionally outside normal business hours (weekends, evening, etc.), during deployments.
