As the first point of contact for HR and Payroll queries, you'll report to the Director of Human Resources. This role demands strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, and compliance with Canadian HR laws. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and French will enhance relationships and ensure understanding across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management
• Administer bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Support recruitment and assist in training program development




• Ensure compliance with HR policies and safety regulations
• Conduct investigations and promote HR programs in operations
Requirements:
• Bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written
• 5 years’ experience as an HR generalist, 2-3 years in recruiting
• Solid integrity to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters
• Knowledge of employment laws in Canadian provinces
• Retail or grocery sector experience is a plus
