We are currently looking for a compassionate, self‑motivated individual to join our team as a Family Resource Worker. Within a school‑based setting you will assist students and their families with a wide range of social, emotional and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of sound and independent judgement, a commitment to confidentiality, effective planning and organizational strategies, and the ability to contribute within a team environment.
This position is currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. June 12, 2026, as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement.
This is a 10‑month, full‑time temporary maternity leave replacement position, working five days per week, 7.5 hours per day, from September 2026 to June 2027, in the Hanna area. Emergency call out over July and August may be required.
Travel to other areas within the division will be required. Responsibilities will commence August 26th, 2024.
Preference will be given to a candidate who has acquired a College Diploma or a University Degree in a human services/health related field (a degree in Social Work would be preferred). A combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered. You must hold or be eligible to hold membership within your skilled designation.
You will possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license, along with valid insurance and a reliable vehicle for travel.
