The Senior Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements, including SaaS and licensing. You’ll also support the management of consumer claims and internal risk assessments. This position involves advising on cybersecurity, privacy matters, and operational legal implications across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate SaaS and software agreements
• Manage consumer claims and develop pre-litigation strategies
• Advise on cybersecurity and PIPEDA compliance
• Monitor legal developments in last-mile logistics
• Collaborate with the Legal Affairs team for process improvement
Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. degree required
• Minimum five years in a law firm or corporate setting
• Bilingual in French and English
• Robust business acumen and client-focused mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools
