As a senior subject matter expert, you will report to the Associate Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, shaping Sheridan’s labour relations strategy and developing a high-performing HR team. The ideal candidate will blend strategic insight with a commitment to fostering positive workplace relations while empowering leaders and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all labour relations matters for Sheridan College
• Build partnerships with union leadership and manage grievances
• Develop labour relations expertise within HR teams




• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on HR issues
• Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions
Requirements:
• University degree in HR, Labour Relations, or related field
• Minimum 9 years HR experience with 5 years in leadership
• Proven skills in unionized environments and collective agreements
• Solid business acumen in strategic planning and budgeting
• Experience in post-secondary education environments preferred
