As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Your role will involve supporting the speech and language development of preschool-aged children through tailored, evidence-based activities. You will also participate in home visits and facilitate positive learning experiences that foster social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver interventions under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members
• Implement individual and group programming interventions
• Facilitate play-based learning to enhance communication skills
• Organize therapy materials and maintain participant records
Requirements:
• Diploma in Speech and Language Pathology Assistant
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle
• Experience with preschool-aged children
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• Administrative support experience preferred
