- Prepare surgical case carts for regular, specialized, and emergency situations.
- Operate decontamination equipment, prepare and package sterile instrumentation/supplies, ensuring all quality indicators are met.
- Operate all sterilization equipment.
- Deliver and pick up supplies.
Qualifications / Skills
- Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate required.
- Instrumentation experience essential.
- Previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC is essential.
- Applicants with previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC will be given priority.
- Broad knowledge of all surgical services and complex instrumentation.
- O.R. technical experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to function as a team member as well as independently.
- Ability to work and problem solve in a fast-paced workplace.
- Proficient in case cart preparation.
- Competent computer skills.
