Dream is looking for a Building Operator, Distillery District Portfolio!

Dream Office REIT is currently seeking a Building Operator who is self‑motivated, delivers excellent customer service, and is ready to learn and work hard.

What will you do?

- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems and facilities;
- Complete tenant service calls such as changing lights, heating/cooling, etc. professionally;
- Oversee the appearance and safety of the property;
- Operate building automation and security computer systems;
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and provide solutions/recommendations;
- Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with building guidelines;
- Oversee service providers to complete duties per contracts;
- Communicate with Operations Manager, Senior Operator, Property Management about building and tenant issues;
- Communicate with tenants delivering updates timely;
- Support site events as needed;
- Coordinate new tenant construction between General Contractor and Condominium requirements;
- Maintain maintenance and daily logs of equipment;
- Be on‑call or cover weekend shifts as required;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements:

- Able to work in confined spaces;
- Bending, twisting, crouching, climbing and reaching;
- Move and lift heavy equipment and supplies;
- Walk, stand and sit as needed;




- Work indoors and outdoors;
- Travel to other portfolio properties if needed;
- Available for on‑call one week per month.

What type of experience and skills do you have?

- Valid driver’s license;
- 3+ years of experience in building operations and building maintenance;
- Experience in commercial, office, retail, or residential environments;
- Completed or enrolled in BES Operator Class I & II Certificate;
- Knowledge of safety and fire codes and WHMIS procedures;
- Proactive in finding problems and solving them;
- Reliable transportation to work;
- Team player who can also work independently;
- Strong computer and communication skills.

Total Rewards @Dream

This is a full‑time position with a base salary range of $55,000–$67,000. The role is eligible for a performance‑based bonus and a comprehensive advantages package, including paid vacation and personal days, flexible benefits, mental health resources, access to perks and discounts, professional development support, and team‑building/social events.

Compensation determined by relevant experience, total years, industry experience, education, and professional designations. Final compensation will be tailored to your specific experience and the value you bring.
