Mission

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Controller will lead the accounting team and oversee the monthly consolidation of financial statements for its subsidiaries. They’ll manage budget variance analysis, costing, and help implement integrated tech tools. A key part of the role involves optimizing financial processes and strengthening internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead an accounting team
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and analyze variances
- Support ERP and financial systems implementation
- Analyze production costs and improve client pricing strategies
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow with department heads
- Maintain banking relationships and cash management
- Oversee annual audit and tax reporting (GST/QST, U.S. sales tax, non-resident remittances)
- Review and improve internal controls across all finance processes
- Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs
- Support due diligence and integration for potential acquisitions

Qualifications

- CPA designation with 7+ years’ experience, including 3-4 in a leadership role
- Robust background in budgeting, financial analysis,



cash management, and payroll (Canada/U.S.)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience implementing ERP systems
- Fully bilingual in French and English
- Strong, engaging communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Adaptable, analytical, and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Positive energy with entrepreneurial mindset
