Real‑Estate LFO Senior Financial Officer – Senior Vice PresidentatCitiFinancial Officers support the development and execution of financial objectives related to revenues, expenses, capital and risk for their respective areas.They partner across functions and finance disciplines to implement strategic initiatives and provide finance leadership to the businesses they support.ResponsibilitiesAssist the business/function in establishing and delivering financial objectives related to revenues, expenses, return on investment and capital.Support short‑term and long‑term budgeting, forecasting and planning processes through engagement with functional partners such as FP&A and an understanding of relevant Real Estate Finance.Partner with key stakeholders and execution leads for financial business decisions and plans.Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Real Estate Finance, its core mandate and strategic objectives.Provide insightful analysis and thoughtful challenge to inform the business’s strategic and financial plans and contribute to performance‑based outcomes.Execute on the strategic direction of the team.Maintain strong partnerships with heads and other functional partners to support and inform financial business decisions and plans.Partner with other Finance stakeholders to help the business meet financial objectives.Provide financial insights and analysis—such as variances to financial plans—to leads and stakeholders upon request.Support the development of business cases and analyses to inform and influence investment decisions.Partner with COO teams to identify potential impacts or issues and corrective actions for variances to financial plans through in‑depth analysis and interpretive thinking.Partner with COO teams on expense‑optimization opportunities and initiatives.Provide financial reports and analytics to leads, including key metrics, results, trends and analysis.Assist in preparing Quarterly Business Review materials with COO teams and other functional partners.Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi’s clients and assets, and driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.Qualifications10+ years of experience.Knowledge of and/or experience working with Real Estate / LFO.Financial management experience, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analytics and analysis.Robust analytical and communication skills and proven ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.EducationBachelor’s or university degree; Master’s degree preferred.Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
