Role Summary

The Manager, Private Sector Marketing is accountable for driving the growth and success of the Private Sector segment through innovative, data-driven demand generation. This role owns the marketing strategy, pipeline, and revenue targets for the Private Sector product portfolio, and leads a team of marketers who plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns that generate qualified leads and sales pipeline. Working closely with the demand generation, product marketing, and senior sales teams, the Manager sets segment direction, translates it into high-performing programs, develops the team, and reports on measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

Segment Ownership & Accountability

- Lead the Private Sector marketing portfolio with accountability for $50M+ in pipeline and revenue goals, ensuring high-performing programs and measurable business impact across the segment.
- Define and execute the annual marketing strategy and plan for the Private Sector portfolio, aligning with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Leverage analytics to optimize campaign performance and resource allocation across the segment.
- Represent Private Sector marketing in cross-functional and leadership meetings, providing strategic updates and insights on program performance and market trends.




- Own and set the Private Sector marketing budget in line with business targets, directing investment and reallocating spend across programs to maximize pipeline and revenue return.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketers—setting explicit goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned to segment targets.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture; support career growth and ongoing development, and recruit and onboard talent as the team scales.
- Allocate work across the team to balance strategic priorities with execution, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of programs.
- Provide direction and mentorship on demand generation best practices, tools, and go-to-market execution.

Program Strategy & Insights

- Lead the planning and oversee execution of lead-generating campaigns and programs aligned to sales objectives (new logo growth, cross-sell, and expansion) specific to the Private Sector segment and product portfolio.
- Marketing SME on Private Sector lead generation, target performance, industry trends, product updates, persona knowledge, and cross-functional activities related to the product portfolio.
- Oversee and govern new product introductions for the Private Sector portfolio, ensuring a repeatable go-to-market process is followed—from defining deliverables and holding the team aligned to reviewing promotional plans and confirming launch readiness.
- Act as the lead liaison to the Private Sector BDR and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of impactful marketing programs that support sales objectives and company priorities.
- Identify and recommend content needs, focus areas, and gaps related to the Private Sector portfolio, supporting team/ stakeholders with program needs to pipeline targets.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Commerce, or equivalent experience.




- 8+ years of experience in marketing program management, channel marketing, and B2B marketing.
- People leadership experience—managing, coaching, or mentoring marketers; direct team management preferred.
- Proven experience managing external vendors/agencies and complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Self-starter with a drive to succeed and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
- (Optional) Familiarity with tools a plus: Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Demandbase, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, ON24, Zapier, and AI solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

$110,000 to $140,000 (CAD) a year. Salary range (min - max)
