THE EMPLOYER

- Canadian arm of an international insurer
- Provides business insurance solutions in the commercial P&C; space
- Market segments include manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, health services

THE POSITION

- Underwrite current and existing business
- Risk selection and analysis using logical, methodical underwriting tools
- Maintain excellent file documentation
- Work collaboratively with your peers both locally and across all regions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner brokers
- Highly technical with less focus on business development targets

MUST HAVES

- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in commercial lines, including exposure to complex risks
- CIP Designation preferred
- Self-starter with strong time management skills
- Detail oriented and highly accurate
- Open mind with a teachable personality




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
