Join Intact as a Principal Engineer and directly impact the modernization of our Policy Administration System. You will oversee the entire architecture strategy and integrate AI across the policy lifecycle, offering a critical backbone for Personal Lines. This role encompasses mentoring, delivery accountability, and shaping key technology decisions in a team-oriented team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define the scalable architecture and de-risk migration from legacy
• Facilitate AI adoption for improved product lifecycle efficiency
• Champion security measures and regulatory compliance




• Engage and mentor a team of engineering professionals
• Formulate key metrics to drive engineering excellence
Requirements:
• 15+ years in software engineering, enterprise architecture experience
• Expertise in Java, Angular, microservices, and cloud architecture
• Proven ability to embed AI into development lifecycles
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on stakeholder collaboration
• Must be eligible to work in Canada; bilingualism preferred in Quebec
