As Loop's Head of Risk, you'll own the risk function from KYC/B onboarding to credit risk management. Your focus will be on designing risk operations that align with our rapid growth and strategic goals. By leading the risk operations team, you will be critical in fortifying Loop’s business against emerging threats and building strong compliance across all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Continuously elevate review quality and turnaround times
• Tune detection rules for AML to minimize false positives
• Manage credit decision workflows and surface emerging risks




• Establish strong partnerships with compliance and product teams
• Keep the risk operations team audit-ready and compliant
Requirements:
• 6+ years in risk operations, AML, or credit risk
• Proven leadership in high-risk environments
• Familiarity with Canadian regulatory frameworks
• Proficient analytical skills and judgement
• Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous settings
