Join ErinoakKids as an Infant Hearing Screener in a community setting. Provide essential hearing screening services for newborns while managing a mobile caseload across various clinics.
This full-time position at the Halton site emphasizes experience with infants and families. You will deliver newborn hearing screenings regionally, collaborating closely with community partners to ensure access to vital services. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential for managing travel throughout Guelph, Fergus, Kitchener, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct infant hearing screenings according to established protocols
• Offer compassionate counselling to families about results
• Maintain clinical documentation in Caredove
• Coordinate with CSS for community screening clinics
• Ensure proper equipment management and compliance with procedures
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in a health-related field
• Experience with infants in healthcare settings
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in electronic documentation
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License for travel
